Fill flash is a photography technique that uses the camera flash to illuminate darker areas of an image, especially the subject, when there is a deficit of natural light or backlighting. It can improve the aesthetic of portraits, macro shots, and even landscape photography. Proper planning and care are required to use fill flash effectively, as overexposure can ruin a photo. When using fill flash, it is important to consider naturalism and adjust the intensity of the flash to complement existing natural light. Balancing the flash with natural light can produce breathtaking and realistic photos.

To begin with, Mrs. Cauchon has taught me how to use a camera in many different ways, so if I want to become a photographer in the future, I will have experience with a camera. She is doing a great job teaching digital photography because when I first signed up for this class I did not know if I would like this elective, but now she has given me a passion for photography. Mrs. Cauchon has a passion for photography for years, for example she told our class that she photographs at weddings for money and fixes anything the customer wants but with a price. Also, she is great with students and able connect with them well, making them love photography. Mrs. Cauchon cares about our futures by showing us how to use a camera, editing and explaining the modes. I can tell that she loves her job of teaching us and going over our work. Mrs. Cauchon is great at explaining the assignments to that we can do them on without a problem. If I need help with editing a picture, I can always call her over to help me and get her opinion on it to make the photo look better. Mrs. Cauchon is not so strict, so I thank her for that, and she is a very cool teacher to have. She has a great personality that includes, being funny, teaching, chill and many more, that’s why she is my favorite teacher.

Martin Luther King Jr was a prominent leader and activist in the Civil Rights Movement who fought for racial equality and justice through nonviolent means. He inspired millions of people with his speeches and demonstrations, and his message of love, peace, and unity still resonates with people today. MLK’s unwavering commitment to justice and equality, despite facing adversity and opposition, has made him a symbol of hope and perseverance. By being Martin Luther King Jr, I would have the opportunity to make a significant impact on society and work towards creating a more equal world.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, it refers to a technique used in photography to capture and represent a greater range of tonal detail than is possible with standard digital imaging methods. You can get successful results by using a low ISO, shoot in manual, turn on auto focus to everything can be focused, and use a tripod so the photo doesn’t come out blurry.

My work is based on taking photos of students and the campus at JHHS. I would rate my work an 8 out of 10 because there are better edited images out there. But I do like what my work is based on knowing I really edited that to look better. I notice that I really like taking pictures of cars and nature. I really like my car pictures because they came out great with successful results. I like my environment and landscape pictures because it really makes you admire the beauty of the campus. I like how this picture came out, super saturated and a beautiful sky.
